This will be our Fifth Endurance Race meeting with GSCE.
Simtec Racing will again be joining us for this event.

Length: 1 HOUR

Practice: Practice any time offline. Practice Online on ShadowRacing RSA server from Friday 27 FEBUARY 2015.
Qualifying: 19:00 for 20 minutes
Race Start: 19:20 sharp
Pit Stops: As many as needed BUT at least ONE pit stop for tyres and/or fuel
Rules: Normal ShadowRacingRSA Racing Rules apply.

WE WILL BE USING THE WES CARS FOR THIS RACE

Remember the racing starts at 19:00 to also accommodate Simtec Racing

i have a question...

is the upgrade Le MANS aero ok for this series or not.
i comes with version 1.1 and is installed in this version.
but...
if i have the orginal UI thing (or what name is, the menü layout), then i can NOT select UPGRADE like in rf1.
only if i use a addon UI (new menü system), here i can make UPGRTADE like FFB strenght and all this things which comes, and i can do then the LE MANS aero pack too.

so people which have orginal menü system can NOT select the upgrade (or i am blind) and are bid disadvanced.
the lemans aero pack is normaly only for lemans track, that cars do not be half of long straight in top speed already, but this upgrade is in EVERY track faster then orginal aero pack.
this is sad, as the cars are ugly to drive with this upgrade, but much much faster in top speed and around 1sec. in laptimes too and use less fuel too.
so it would be interest is this upgrade is ok or not? in r2p in rf1 they say, it is ok, as we can not controll this.
but as i did say...bid disadvantage to people which can not use the lemans upgrade.

i know this carpack very well and i know what i am write (GTE cars only, i never drive P1 or P2 cars).

other then this...
the fueldifferent is extrem much in this cars, so pitstop times will be much different
in any cars the boost have NO effect, as the max. HP is way to early in rpm already, and only need much more fuel, and there are little other things too which are not correct (bug?), but not important.

this cars are so great to drive and is my favourite mod. actual in rf1, but the sh.t lemans aero pack destroy the fun a lot, as the cars are not fun anymore to drive, but we must use lemans aero for have a chance for good results (sadly).

Hmm, i dont have this UI, i only have the default UI so no Aero pack for me then! Oh well will run normal aero then because i dont want a special UI...i want the default one so i dont have to have a special install just for 1 mod.

i am not sure if i do explain correct in my letter (always not easy to find correct words).
but exacly this is what i was write about,
the disadvantage is you can NOT select upgrade!!!! with the orginal UI (or what name for menü is).
so you drive without aero pack, but probably other use this aero pack,
so you are massive disadvantages.

the aero pack is a totaly boost in performance, the cars drive ugly, but after any time to get used to this you are faster, that is sad but true,
so it would be good to know if this lemans aero pack is ok or not, or is it possible to controll that.

if i can make this race i will show you, i will drive a GTE car and you will make big big eyes if i overtake you(other GT cars) in the long straight like i had 50-100HP more.
in a road atlanta race, i had to lift the throttle in straight to let P2 cars which had not lemans aero pack installed let lapping.

so, if there is in future a series with this cars, i think it must be a rule if this lemans aero pack is ok or not, and all people must know that it is possible to make upgrade.

personal (my own) thinking is, that the LEMANS aero pack should not be ok, as like you denis, do not have the possibilty to make upgrade, and this aero pack like the name is, is only for the lemans track make, but i am not sure if this is controllable to use it.

i hope i can make this race to show this huge advantage.

this is not a "make this carmod negative" letter, only will help letter that everybody knows what is possible in this carmod, like i said already, i like this cars a lot, but i not the lemans aero upgrade and in GSC especialy, that with orginal menü you can not select this (only with a addon thing).

Yes i dont have the aero pack...and it sounds like it should not be allowed. I agree with you on that, if we vote for or against the lemans aero i vote against using it then!

I wont be using the lemans pack, the cars are fun without it already and make for close racing! Im doing GTE to enjoy the close fun racing...using the lemas aero defeats that idea...so i wont use it either way!

Had some practice last night in the P1, P2 and GTE cars on SPA with Denis, Gustav and Gert, very nice but lots of concentration required.
As the P1 cars is rather bumpy here, your opinion about only using the P2 and GTE cars for this race ???

P2 #02 - Extreme Speed Motorsport

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but when you look at the Porsche P1 car in showroom, it does not have the complete rear wing.

Mine looks fine but will check for you. On track the wing is perfect.

Regarding the P1 and bumps. For some reason they extremely sensitive to bumps, ffb wise we mean. Braking zones with the wheel settings right down it gets crazy...REAL crazy lol. P@ and GTE cars feel perfect though, so maybe a P2 and GTE only grid would be better. Another thing is headlights dont seem to shine here...track has a few glitches. Not a serious issue but if a guy flashes another guy he might not see your flash so be aware of that!
