The Championship will consist of 10 rounds.
1 Race per round of +- 60 minutes WITH pit stop for tires.
Race start times will be 8pm where possible or as soon as load shedding is over.
Qualifying will be 20 minutes for this event

SKIN PACK MUST BE INSTALLED TO RACE ONLINE

CARS: Teams will be allowed and a team Championship will also be in effect.
Team points: From 1st to 8th place you will receive 6 points.
From 9th place to 15th place you will receive 5 points (If you finish the race).
Teams MUST use the same livery, including the color of the car. Only the numbers on the cars will differ.
You may create your own livery as soon as you have teamed up. Please indicate here who your team mate is and the car numbers you want.
Single entries are welcome, but won't count for team championship.

They could have made the track side markers a bit bigger. I battle to read them & miss my breaking points a few times.

Jokes aside, they could have increased them a bit.

Is this the same link/track as was used for the Nippons?

Went around it a few times, and just cant seem to get a nice feel or flow going so far, am managing to drift quite nicely though

The brake markers are the distance boards just before the corners.

Kevin - I'm going to have to retire from this event/series- Saturday's unfortunately are not working for me currently
All in All I have to commend you on setting up an awesome Championship, you have managed to get a bunch of good and decent drivers together on nearly full grids

An extract from a backmarkers diary

Well today was the day, I was really keen to get a top 5, hell, even a top 10 again would be nice.

Did a bang load of laps in preparation, and for the fact that by midweek this track didn't scream at me, " COME RACE I'M FUN". So I knew work needed to be put in.

Decided to put a Qualifying time down for the first time in about 3/4 races, managed a nut busting 1:41,306, which in my mind was super quick, only to notice speed demon, the freak show, the man with a plan, the ultimate destroyer, Denis Mitchell putting down a 1:35.248, ye ye I know, by this time we all know he is a phenomenal driver, but man this guy just keeps on giving.

So we on the grid, ready to go, I take a quick puff of the stogie and I'm ready

GO GO GO GO GO

I'm off to a tremendous start of the line, and en up in 7th spot by turn one, I see a few collisions and at most avoid the melee.

and for the life of me, I don't know what happened, I think the best words I can find right now, is absolute brain fart.

I loose my shape going threw the kink that is turn 10, I'm late on the breaks, O shit I can't stop, in attempt to avoid cars ahead of me i turn right, slamming on the breaks and gearing down like crazy, I loose the car completely and start sliding towards corner 11/12 wishing I don't make contact with anyone, and then


BANG

I knock Shawn Johnson, I'm so sorry Shawn, I tried my damnedest to avoid the hit, after watching the replay I should've gone left, but in my moment of absolute noobness I hit your car and took you off track. really hope damage to your vehicle wasn't big and that it won't affect the outcome of your race.

I went to the pits on the next lap, as my car was steering heavy to the left, I did the pit stop and came out about 30/40 seconds later, I caught up with Nathan, really putting the hammer down, saw Denis approaching to lap me, and I just said F**CK it, I'm such a dumbass, Im going to get lapped on like the 4th lap here, driver ahead of me is like 40+ there is NO way in hell I can salvage anything from this, the only thing that can happen, is me crash into someone else, or block my teamate in pit lane.

So that was that.

Looking forward to next week already, need to get that DNF out of my mind

Once again...disaster!
Not from driving!!!
I qualified well, I thought with a 1:41 and got a good, clean start.
After 5 laps, low and behold, found myself in 6th place and thought I could really do well here. Like the track and the car was rock solid.
Going through the tight last chicane, GAME FREEZE......Oh no!!!
First time ever I get a game freezing. SUCKS!

Very tuff track. Q 3 P3

Busy race, had a few dices with Gus & Ryan. We touched once or twice. At least we kept it on the track. Gus kept on disappearing from my time screens & then appearing. Close to the end I approached Nathan to lap him. I tried to slip stream him to gain a bit before passing him....... he slows down. booooom. LOL Don't stress Nathan. we all learn from our mistakes. Lucky for me the damage was minimal. I could continuous. Ryan was catching me at the end. We had a bit of a battle before he ended up loosing time. Not sure why. Happy with 3rd place.
