2016 DTM Round 1 Nurburgring - 29-07-2016

hi rob,

can you confirm (hope this is the correct word), that all 3 cars totaly equal in performance,
i did watched a little the files and it looks so, but i am not expert in this things, so it would be good to know this,
as in results from test race, the bmw was always in top of quali and race position and most people did drive it too.

other then this, what helping things are in this series? (abs, TC, and so on...),
it would be good to know, as i did any time ago here any races with a GT3 mod (not EEC, think adac or similar was name) and i was surprised how people could drive so stabile with low wings settings, any races later i did found that they use "stability help" (or similar name it was, it was F4 in GSC), after i did this too, i was same fast as the front runners, i am not family with this racegame, so it would be good to know things like this (as i had to mapping things on wheel too later).

is there standing start or formation lap?

i hope i have today time for testing and then i do sign up, but if all cars equal, i think i use audi, as i like the cockpit best, this DTM cars have a little strange cockpit view and in audi i can see best.

edit... is DRS on in this series (and do this work correct)?, and is the boost function on too in this series?

You can use medium TC and low Stability control.
The cars are all the same performance.
The DRS works the same as F1. You must be in a DRS zone and within 1 second of the driver in front of you.
The DRS flap does not open, but it does work.
There is no boost on these cars.

Race1: Loaded setup, car started on grid, only problem was, the other were already gone :/ - starting lights frozen in middle of screen on red, lap times not counting.

Hope it doesn't happen to anyone else in race2.

hi tim,

i think i had similar problem
in 2nd race, suddently the red light did frooze and i had no idea when to start, then i got drive-through? and i was alone on track, no other cars i did see after start?????
the 35sec. before race start, i did 2xtimes testing ping and always was around 220 only.
strange this is.

The 1st race was really good and intense
Well, the 2nd one...I could have a good battle with 2 Audi for 2nd place but at the last corner i touched the barrier and caused a quite big crash...sorry for that guys.

2 good races for the Team, with race 1 being a 1-2-3 and race 2 a 1-2

Race 1 was a really intense race with Milan and Reinhard right behind me, although we got helped with the first lap incident ( sorry to the guys involved ) luckily our team got through it well and getting a 1-2-3 throughout the race with Reinhard so close behind us! great racing! ( thx for backup Milan )

Race 2 was another great race especially during the first stint i had a great fight with Shawn! really enjoyed it and still after the pitstops we were very close and it was really to bad you crashed as i think you would have the pace to become second! to bad thou another crash took out more guys

@Reinhard, that's a strange one mate,.. i never had this before and during race 1 it dint seem that your were lagging when i looked in the mirrors, hopefully it was bad luck and wont happen again

apart from a few incidents it was good racing and thanks to all who joined! hope to see u next time

PENALTIES FOR ROUND 1:

Christo......no qualify for race 1 in the next round.
Unsafe driving and causing another driver to be badly damaged.

it was good to bee back, enjoyed the race althought i did not last long due to incident, And 2nd race mmm mismatch could not race hope to sort out problem
